This will start the medicine ball rolling:

Let’s not consider the warped and hateful rhetoric of the feminazis,
and how they have hijacked their inflamatory buzz words…
    chauvinism= patriotism…

My comments are rated R: will they make it past the censor??

    R for
    this is R idiculous…
I said it before, and I will say it again:
    You men, GET R EAL
    about marital relations after childbirth.
    It’s NOT about YOU!

If you men had a b.m. the size of a watermelon, with blood flowing, and hormones racing, nursing a baby round-the-clock, would you be feeling FRISKY after 7 or even 14 days in that same orrifice?
    Think!

Not only is the woman in R ecovery,
the logic that the menstrual cycle is somehow different from the recovery after childbirth is wRong-headed…
The mother’s womb is busy cleansing and healing itself, and
she is in R covery and
    R estoration.
Oxytocin is flooding her body for this process, and for breastfeeding and bonding with the baby.
Each menstrual cycle is the woman’s body preparing for conception; and if not, it all leaves the body… as waste. hello….

Ever heard of EPISIOTOMY? Maybe unknown in ancient times, it is common practice these days.

The whole point is to avoid blood, right? That’s YOUR job men-
even if you are not considering the mother!-
not to somehow rationalize how SOON you can get sex.
I shudder to think of the wives that had to submit to their husbands with this kind of thinking!

I can just see some husband who thinks this way ( or listening to this out there in cyber land) saying, ok, let’s get with it, after one week or 2 weeks later.
I GUARANTEE you will not get any cooperation from her!
Anyway, there are restrictions on even getting close to a woman with an issue of blood, for any reason. Give the poor woman a break!

I’m not a feminist, but this kind of brutish male thinking is very off-putting…even mysogynistic.
You need to R econsider your teaching opinion on this issue…

    Shalom,
About halfway through this broadcast you mention another broadcast where you and Nehemia discussed this topic in further detail. I would be very interesting in hearing it…could you provide a link to it? Thank you, and I enjoy Torah Pearls very much!

Jono, could you put up the link for Nehemia’s broadcast about women and issues of blood? Thank you so much. 🙂
