Is the debate with Rabbi Tovia already sold out? It is a dead link saying “not found” I really want to go. I was going to bringing others with me.

Jono, thanks for using my comment in the broadcast, that is my first and it oddly made me very nervous, sort of uncovered. I think one strong point that Tovia stated was that the Septuagint was written in pieces, 5 books of Moshe first then the rest later, and that those tricky Christians somehow influenced or perverted the Rabbis and others to alter Psalm 2 (and 22?). Here is a quote to refute that …

Written by The Editors of Encyclopædia Britannica
    Alternate titles: LXX
Septuagint, abbreviation Lxx, the earliest extant Greek translation of the Old Testament from the original Hebrew, presumably made for the use of the Jewish community in Egypt when Greek was the lingua franca throughout the region. Analysis of the language has established that the Torah, or Pentateuch (the first five books of the Old Testament), was translated near the middle of the 3rd century bc and that the rest of the Old Testament was translated in the 2nd century bc.

If Tovia has a newer scholarly source for his Christian Era Septuagint Theory, that would be great to have, thanks.

But I guess the real problem is getting hold of a pre-Christian era copy!
