Yoel ben Shlomo – Light of the Prophets – Judges 16:1-31

Did Samson really resemble today’s body builders? Did he break Torah by soliciting a prostitute? Who exactly were the Philistines and was Dargon their fish god? To what kind of grinder was he assigned while in prison? Just how many Philistines did he kill?

Olive branch to you as well, Mr. Ben Shlomo. I love the insights you give, even though I disagree at times with some conclusions made. All good 😉 This show is a great study help and very enlightening.

If you do not find anyone to assist with your site, I can help. Jono should have my site and email address from the fill-out form on this blog post, if you wish to see my handiwork. lol

    Thanks again!

Shalom Yoel and Jono, thank you for this delightful broadcast.
I’ve enjoyed the information and knowledge brought forth by Yoel on Samson’s stature, the emphasis on prayers and dependency on YHWH than on sheer brute strength alone. So, “giants” still exists these days, and they are NOT nephilim brought forth as in ‘fallen angels having relationship with women of men’. lol
Amein to Yoel that Torah keepers are friends, good friends to Yisrael! But, enemies of Torah are not neccessarily enemies of YHWH, as HIS hand is not short in restoring all who seek Him, and His righteousness/justice, and regathering both Houses. Amein?
It’s not so much the power of Noach to pronounce a curse on Ham, as Proverbs says ‘a curse without cause does not come’? Ham committed an abomination, and would be cursed by YHWH anyhow?
Thank you for explaining “dog”/kalev as male prostitues!
A video recording sounds great, with beautiful scenes of Israel, as suggested by Jono is fabulous! Another suggestion-Hebrew meanings and words written out as they’re being read! A Hebrew lesson :- )) incorporated! Todah!!!
