TOBY Homeschool Highlights ~ week 12

July 18, 2010

Well, we had a very relaxed time this past week. We start back into a more structured life next week when I return to University! So here are just a few random things that we did this week;

  • We watched ‘My Brilliant Career’ with Sam Neill and Judy Davis and ‘War and Peace’ with Audrey Hepburn. Actually that film has sparked an interest in finding out more about Napolean and Russia!
  • Bridget finished her second last Singapore maths workbook, and played a Maths CD-Rom with Jonah. Jonah and William spent many an hour on Poisson Rouge.
  • Bridget completed a Torah portion worksheet from the Torah Truth group
  • We started our Hebrew Word Studies with the first word ‘ahav’.
  • We cleaned out the chicken coup and trimmed the goats hooves
  • Bridget made choc-chip cookies!
  • Swimming lessons – Bridget in particular is doing very well with her strokes

Have a blessed week ahead! Check out other TOBY highlights HERE

    really? Maybe they’re getting broody??? Do you have a rooster??? Maybe they just think they are old enough to start pushing you to the bottom of the peaking order :-)

  3. What a nice week. I pray everyone eases back into the more structured week coming up, including mama :D I am checking into the books you spoke about. Thanks… and if you find any others, especially if series of books, please, let me know :D
