They are coming up. Sunday night will be Yom Teruah or the Feast of Trumpets. 5 days later is Yom Kippor or the Day of Atonement. And 10 days after that Sukkot or the Feast of Tabernacles.
This will only be our 3rd year of remembering these very special and set apart days on Yahweh’s calendar. By keeping these days set apart each year, our family has learned much about our Elohim and His plan for His people.
These special days can be read about in Leviticus 23. No matter which translation you read, you will notice that they are not referred to as the “Jewish” feasts but the feasts of the LORD, or the feasts of YHWH. And they are for ALL His people. Not only those from the tribe of Judah (or “Jew-dah”).
