Locusts! Would be a great supply of calcium, that should be gathered by the Israelites, or have they lost sight being enslaved in Mitzraim for so long that locusts are yummy kosher food, better then the leeks and whatever they have been fed on. 🙂
Point to take heed, from Nehemia on ‘one last thing’, be very alert at the negotiating table, it is a battle of “wits”, rather, discerning what is on the mind of the opposing side/s!!
Keith, we are enjoying your zeal on your Time Will Tell, Dvds! Thank you!
Blessings and thank you to all you three!

Great study and thanks to all of you. Could it be that the Egyptian ‘man on the street’ was fed up with Pharaohs stubbornness as it seems Pharaohs advisors were Ex. 10:7 and thus gave generously to Israel of their wealth. It says God hardened Pharaohs heart, not the citizenry, yet they suffered the death of their firstborn also. It has ever been that the people suffer the results of their leaders evil.

One Question on the “Abib” Barley Method for determining the first New Moon of the Year…How would this have been done while wondering in the Wilderness for 40 years? It could Not have been this way. Mosheh Would have Never seen a Barley Harvest in the Wilderness and there is NOT One scripture to Support this Tradition of men.

You Can Not “Observe” the Spring Equinox! You can Observe the Vernal Equilux which is 4 days before the Vernal Equinox. ..

How do you answer the many instances in the apostolic writings in which it is written that Gentiles don’t need to convert through circumcision to be accepted in the fellowship of the saints. Acts 15:20, 29 and Acts 21:25.

The apostolic writings expressly denies physical circumcision for the Gentile believer. There is no Gentile in the New Testament that is authorized to become physically circumcised. Some did, but they did it because they listened to false teachers (Galatians 1:6-8ff.). The ‘circumcision made without hands,’ done by Messiah Yeshua Himself (Philipians 3:3; Colossians 2:11) allows the Gentile to enter His Kingdom and partake of His Passover.

Paul commands the Corinthian Gentiles to keep the Passover, and only two chapters later, he says to the Gentiles that they were to remain the way they were and not become circumcised (1st Corinthians 5:6-8; 7:18). Paul never teaches otherwise (nor does anyone else). This reveals that uncircumcised Gentiles were keeping the Passover.

It seems that Paul’s words affirm the decree of Acts 15, and also, that Gentile circumcision‘for the right reason’ (to keep the Passover) is not a valid biblical teaching (see also Romans 2:26; 3:30; 4:11) for a believer in Yeshua.

    What do you think?

David, Thank you for your question. I respond with the following passages:

Genesis 17:9-14, “And God said to Abraham: “As for you, you shall keep My covenant, you and your descendants after you throughout their generations. This is My covenant which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: Every male child among you shall be circumcised; and you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between Me and you. He who is eight days old among you shall be circumcised, every male child in your generations, he who is born in your house or bought with money from any foreigner who is not your descendant. He who is born in your house and he who is bought with your money must be circumcised, and My covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. And the uncircumcised male child, who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that person shall be cut off from his people; he has broken My covenant.”

Exodus 12:48-49, “And when a stranger dwells with you and wants to keep the Passover to Yehovah, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as a native of the land. For no uncircumcised person shall eat it. One law shall be for the native-born and for the stranger who dwells among you.”

Jeremiah 6:16, “Thus says Yehovah: “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’

David: I’d like to briefly point out that in Acts 15:24, the quote “be circumcized and keep the law” was added to the Greek manuscripts in the fourth century (by Constantine, most likely). However, often Paul and the Jerusalem Council were preaching against forced adult circumcision and keeping the Oral Law in addition to the written.

Here is a side-by-side comparison of the two main manuscript families (the Westcott/Hort on the left is believed to be the truer of the two families):

    http://prototypes.openscriptures.org/manuscript-comparator/?passage=Acts+15:24&view=parallel&strongs=1

You’ll notice some words highlighted in light red on the right side (Textus Receptus/Byzantine). These are “λεγοντες περιτεμνεσθαι και τηρειν τον νομον” or “saying circumsize and keep the law/torah”.

Also, Paul reported that Timothy did end up getting circumcized but didn’t seem to be against him doing so. But the confusion is allayed when one understands that the circumcision preached against in Paul’s letters is the mandatory adult circumcision which was part of the Rabbinical Oral Law. Paul was likening this induction ceremony to evil corruption of the Mosaic Law and the complete opposite of the Abrahamic circumcision/conversion process and the trust in the Messiah for restoration. Also, non-converts were being told by these wayward Rabbinical believers they had to convert or leave.

    I hope this helps.

When my daughter cries the dog always start wailing. Perhaps it was a reference that none of the dogs in goshem would be barking because there was no crying
