Your “show” is titled Torah Pearls. Why do you neglect to bring out any reference of Yeshua being a “Torah pearl” such as resting in Yehovah’s sabbath, yeshua said, “come unto me, you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”. And in the story of the gathering of the manna, Yeshua said, “indeed I tell you the truth; it wasn’t mosheh who gave you bread from heaven but my father is giving you the genuine bread from heaven. For god’s bread is the one who comes out of heaven and gives life to the world… They said to him, sir, give us this bread from now on. Yeshua answered, I AM the bread which is life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry and whoever TRUSTS in me will NEVER be thirsty.”

If this is not a Torah pearl, nothing is. It seems to me you have lowered yourself into the group of “picking and choosing” what you want to feed the sheep. PLEASE correct me if I’m wrong.

    G’day Joseph,

Thank you for your comment. As you know, that which you have quoted is not found in the Torah and therefore is not a “Torah Pearl”. A “Torah Pearl” is when our eyes are opened to behold the wonderful things of the Torah. Our eyes are opened when we place the Torah in it’s grammatical, historical, and contextual setting, and we ask ourselves what did THEY originally understand when they heard the Torah in it’s original language.

Enjoying the Torah Pearls, sorry unable to financially show you my appreciation, but will when I’m in a better place with that.

Thanks for your patience and grace with us listeners when we don’t quite get it re: Torah Pearls.

I think you guys are great and sound like people I would have over for a coffee any day, just let me know.

    Cheers,

Shalom Jono. This post is in response to your reply (thank you kindly for responding) Jan 26,2013@8:34pm.
By definition Torah means instructions. Because they are from YHWH, they are Devine instructions. His instructions in righteousness are from Genesis- Revelation. Therefore the entire Bible would be considered Torah.
We believers who accept Yeshua as The Son of God and His Annointed Meschiach was the written Torah in the Tanack and became the living Torah 2000 thousand years ago, (Emanuel).
Putting the Torah in context can be summed up in one word—-redemption. That is what YHWH provided thru His Son for those with “eyes to see and ears to hear.”
    Shalom, Joseph

Sabat Shluym you guys. 🙂 That was a great lesson, in that our translations are gathered together, as many nations and tongues into one truth. YHWH be upon your every move towards His coming.
