What Became of the Hanukkah Menorah? – Rabbi Tovia Singer

The Menorah that was carried away by Roman soldiers in 70CE, as depicted on the Arch of Titus, was the Menorah of the Hanukkah story; the very Menorah that replaced the one that Antiochus IV Epiphanies smashed to pieces in 167BCE. Did the Romans smash this one also? If not, then where is it today? Discussions such as these arose from our visit to the Diaspora Museum at Tel Aviv University.
