    Listening to the bantering about King Saul’s requirement of 100 foreskins as a dowry from David, (to have David die at the hands of the Philistines) — brought to memory King David’s sending Uriah the Hittite into battle to be abandoned by his comrades in the heat of battle. (2 SAM 11:15)
