When did Mr. & Mrs. Joshua go to bed? What is our circadian rhythm and how does it work? Managed properly, can it help us loose weight? How does magnesium help? What foods are naturally high in magnesium?

hi dev., re mag oil. it is actually a brine…so it soaks in and leaves a salt residue (like a day at the beach),.
Hi Dev and Jono,
Really enjoy your show and the advice that comes across on it, but with this one I was a little concerned…there is a small group that can not take magnesium and it is possible for them to overdose on it (when taking it in supplements). There are a variaty of symptoms including cardiac arrythmia, respiratory issues, nausea, vomiting, coma. Usually these things do not occure from food. As one of this group I just wanted to give you a heads-up on this one, I know that you’re not doctors and I really do appreciate the effort you are all putting into this show.
Thanks
I endured a circadian rhythm disorder for nearly 45 years and have recently come out of it. My disorder was known as ‘delayed phase sleep disorder’ where my rhythm was pushed forward some 6 hours. I was a night-owl and naturally went to sleep between 3-4 AM but needed to sleep until noon. My cycle was so offset that i was a wreck until 12 PM every day, and it felt like being in jet lag until noon. Later this changed to irregular rhythm disorder and my cycle was then all over the clock and I was a wreck. I recently found a psychiatrist who deals with sleep disorders and she advised me of how to stabilize my cycle once it got into an acceptable time slot, without the need for medication. Once it happened that my rhythm slipped into the right time-frame i changed my daily activities to keep the hormones synched. In the morning I get up and go outside and hang around in the full sun as the bright light helps synch the hormones. I have a heavy breakfast of high-protein, take 20 minutes of brisk exercise to get my body running,. My lunch has been heavy with a light high-protein and evening meals are light with mostly protein and taken before 6 PM. Evenings must have lighting set as dim as possible to function. Computer monitors and TV screens must have the brightness controls turned down as low as possible. No significant physical exercise should be taken after 6 PM and I must avoid anything that may be emotionally exciting. Anyway, I’ve kept to this regimen and that seems to have kept my cycle in a normal one and i now sleep great for the first time in 44 years and my life is far better as a result.

Wow, that was magnanimous – cannot wait to get mine and start replenishing! Thank you Dev for the great advice and Jono for bringing it to us!
Yes Jono, you are right. You can overdose on magnesium. Believe me, it will flush out. lol one way of telling if you’re taking too much.
