If we are not to make a sacred pillar why was Jacobs pillar accepted? Must we always have two or three witnesses? Who has the authority today? Are we guilty of rejecting Yehovah as King? What of the Harry Potter question and how far do we take Deuteronomy 18:9-14? Who is the prophet likened unto Moses?

What dates for the 2013 Aviv Search?
yikes, when I posted my question, the broadcast went away and had to start over!
I agree 100% that Yeshua wrote out the commandments in the sand and probably left out the commandment – thou shalt not commit adultery…
I completely agree with Keith that the prophet in Deu 18:15-19 is the Messiah, namely Yeshua. The Thirteenth Century Rabbinic commentator Ralbag (Rabbit Levi ben Gershon) did not understand it as a “collective singular” concerning this passage. He wrote: A prophet from the midst of you.- In fact the Messiah is such a Prophet as it is stated in the Midrash [Tanhuma] on the verse “Behold my Servant shall prosper” [Is. 52:13]… Moses by the miracles which he wrought brought a single nation to worship Elohim, but the Messiah will draw all peoples to the worship of Elohim. (Ralbag on Duet. 18:18)
The Midrash Tanhuma (cited above) says:
It is written, Behold, my servant shall deal wisely, He shall be exalted, and extolled, and be very high (Isa_52:13). It means, He shall be more exalted than Abraham of whom it is written, ‘I lift up my hand’ (Gen_14:22). He shall be more extolled than Moses of whom it is said, ‘As a nursing father beareth the nursing child’ (Num_11:12). ‘And shall be very high’—that is, Messiah shall be higher than the ministering angels. (Midrash Tanhuma Is. 52:13)
Certainly the Torah foretells the coming of Messiah. A tradition found in Midrash Rabbah provides: Like Moses, Messiah will be revealed, then hidden, then revealed again. (Bamidbar Rabbah 11:2) Or, we may recall the very words of Yeshua, “Mosheh wrote about Me.” (Joh_5:46)
Thank you Keith!
Preach it Keith! love it.
I love you guys & listen every week but this week I had to dis agree with Nehemiah A person with a solid knowledge & belief would not be affected by such things as H Potter but young people even believers are still struggling with their faith & beliefs can be affected by reading & watching these kind of materials & may end up dabbling in the occult
What a resource these pearls have been 4 my family. May Ya bless and keep u, because this program has been one of the best resources for our faith/study EVER! We will re-review torah pearls many times b4 our work is done on this third rok from the sun! We love y’all!
I understand how Keith feels about the Harry Potter thing and the potential influence upon our children. I believe Nehemia has a different take on this matter because currently …
1- He doesn’t have any children… yet.
Deu 6:6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.
Deu 6:7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
2- He’s homeless.
Deu 7:26 And you shall not bring an abominable thing into your house and become devoted to destruction like it. You shall utterly detest and abhor it, for it is devoted to destruction.
Melchizedek was Shem, King of Jerusalem, then Eber then Isaac then Jacob the 12th…
Adam the first, Seth the second, Enos the 3rd, Cainan the 4th, Mahalaleel the 5th, Jared the 6th, Methuselah the 7th, whuch brings you to Noah the 8th…
the 13th brings you to Levi and Aaron the 14th…
Yeshua was of the order of Melchizedek as his father was YHVY and gave to Him all knowledge of Himself…
I think these first 14 mentioned are part of the 24 elders all about the throne of god – Of the Order of the Melchizedek….
Chrisso, you cited “the order of Melchizedek”, but do you know what the English word “order” is in the Hebrew?
Basically my understanding is that the word “order” comes from the primitive root Hebrew word “dabar” – pronounced dä·var’ –
Translated in English basically meaning Commanded of God…
Therefore, the Order of the Melchizedek, is the same as saying the Kingly High Priest of YHVH commanded to be so by YHVH to hold and share the truth and peace of the one and only God YHVH…
Chrisso, What do you base that information on?
Thank you, Keith, for not engaging in speculation. One day I would like to hear what you have discovered concerning Yeshua’s words recorded in the Gospels, and their connection to the Torah/Tanakh.
Much wisdom (from Keith) and knowledge (from Nehemia) and both, from Jono, to glean from. :- ))
I absolutely agree with Keith, that such as witchcraft books, from the depths of dark imagination ought not to be read by kids, nor to be brought into the house, which has been set apart to YHWH,
they would be considered unclean, as a bad influence to the minds of innocent kids, that witchcraft is acceptable. No way, Nehemia! Can you be so naive? Slicha! Such books do not build up ones’ walk with YHWH.
Absolutely true, Nehemia, we are accountable for ourselves, to seek for understanding first and foremost through the Ruach, Who leads us to all truth and not solely from men.
Appreciate all these programs, Jono, thank you to the three of you, interesting characters! lol.
Shalom!
Jono, Keith and Nehemia: you are providing people with authentic textual insights obscured to us by centuries of cultural layers expressed through philosophy and derived theology; in short, things that make up our cultural perceptions and tell us how to experience the world and ourselves. We’ve had enough and this precisely is the way to say No to culture-mediated indoctrination.
It seems that you and others like you are starting a worldwide movement of individuals genuinely interested in understanding God through a serious textual instrument that measures His personality.
You are certainly encouraged to continue and pump more energy and skill into it.
