I found this very informative. Have to listen again because there was much info.
Found it very informative. Lots to think on.
Where does one find the wild yam and other resources that Stephen talked about?
Loads of wonderful info…but what about kefir? I was literally on the edge of my seat while listening, in hopes that Stephen might say something about it.
I finally got a chance to listen to this one – very good job asking our questions.
I wish I had known 14 years ago what I’ve learned in the last few years. I would do several things differently. Dr. Tamplin touched on other things I’ve noticed personally. I cut out almost all dairy products and found I feel much better.
It’s important that we take responsibility as much as possible for our own health and I appreciate naturopaths for allowing this. I didn’t find this to be so much the case with conventional medicine. I was fearful and at their mercy, because I didn’t know how to educate myself.
Thanks for all the good information.
p.s. If a husband wants to take home wild yam root or other herb for his wife’s mood swings, I would advise him to take FLOWERS too, and give them to her first. If she’s having a bad day, she might take the gesture the wrong way, lol.
Glad to have heard this! And, until I get my wild yam, DHEA with Bcomplex & B6 in particular, I’m going to enjoy some more red.
Great info-thank you to both of you.
Steven, I would like to follow up with the complete min & hormonal work up. As I have been diagnosed with Hasimoto’s disease ( low thyroid AND/OR hormone imbalance ).
Did HCG injections last year and had the best 40 days in a long time,of course I was also eating the diet that goes along with the injections. I am a ND. & MH & believe me when I tell you I have tried everything. Tried for 3 years to regulate low thyroid, and although I felt no difference my count went up to 70.7. At that point Hubby, said get on the syn-roid, did so and count stays even keel now for 5 years. (100 mcg). Now 60 years old and done with the hell of menopause (took 12 years)!
Diet is usually a good one (I know all about white death), occasional indulgence.
So please include info on reputable places to get test done, as these tests were just starting to be used when I stopped seeing clients.
Thanks again Jono
